remote transmission filter

I've been exploring the option of putting in a inline transmission filter set up, screw on canister just like a oil filter. I've been crawling around the front of my truck and just cant figure out where to squeeze it in. Its driving me nuts. Has anyone accomplished this yet? Please feel free to drop some hints. Thanks

I installed mine on the drivers side frame their are some factory drilled hole there. just in front of the fuel tank

I'm not sure this is exactly what your after but here it goes.

I installed my By Pass Oil Filter on the outside of the frame beam just under the Crew Cab. I then had the hoses made to reach the oil pump.

One handy tip: Put some inline (brass) ball valves with quick disconnects on the hoses. It makes maintenance much more simple.

I installed a Frantz on my Transmission a few weeks ago and I'm impressed with the results. I installed it underneath the passenger side rail. I spliced into the return line on the transmission. I went with the Frantz because I wanted the submicronic filtration that the spin on full flow filters can't achieve
