Question Factory Autolock Programing

Has anyone out there tried to reset the auto lock feature on any ford truck. Mine is off and I want to turn it back on. I've tried the manual but i couldnt get it to work. It's a great feature to have on, when ever you put the car in drive the doors should lock automaticaly. If you search my recents posts you'll see that I had a remote start installed in my Naviagtor. It is made by Avital (DEI) and it is just an addon remote sart that works with the factory security system. Is been working fine but I can't seem to get the stock auto-lock feature to reset itself.

Thanks,

Jonas

this is the actual procedure to re-set your keychains, but it may reset the auto-locks?

turn the key from off, to on 8 times in 10 seconds, leaving it in the "ON" position, then press any button on your remote.

Not sure if it will help, maybe?
