Just thinking out loud here, because I saw a low profile seat suspension in a Surplus Center catalog. My F250 HD is a bucking bronco with that stiff suspension and 10ply tires (but I do get 11.5-12.5mpg out of my 460 consistently) and since I will be eventually putting some buckets in there (maybe even some vintage Mustang units I have ) and was considering a seat suspension as a solution for the stiff ride much akin to how the big rigs solve this. I realize the seat suspensions in the surplus catalog are most likely not rated for highway use (impact survival). Was going to look into the real highway units. Just wondering if anyone else has done this. Might be prohibitively expensive. Thoughts?
the F-650 had suspension seat in it, an air ride seat. but the cab is so small i had to leave the seat on the floor otherwise my head was stuffed into the roof. so it deleted the sense of having an air ride seat in the truck.
