Rear end ID
Hey guys, bought my '56 a few months back, and looking to convert rear drums to disc to match the front. I'm not sure what rear end I have. Any tips/links to a resource?
I will post some pics here tonight if there are any experts. I'm not even sure if there is a ID tag on it. Haven't made it that far yet...

Wasn't able to get under truck to find a tag or numbers. Hopefully someone can ID from these pics...?

It looks to be the stock Dana 44 differential. Here's a link to an article from Wiki that has a picture. Still popular with the Jeep crowd, they were used in 50's Ford pickups until 1956 when Ford went with their own 9" differential in '57
