I’ve got a NP435/300-6 out of a Bombardier Muskeg. It’s not an original install.
Trans was making some noise and slipping out of first gear.
Pulled the top and the input shaft seems a bit sloppy. Measured the gap between the 2nd and 3rd gears and it’s around .075, creating a lot of slop on the bearing. I don’t see any shims installed to take up the slack.
Suggestions/advice?

Welcome to FTE, SanDeuon!
I split your post into its own thread in a more appropriate forum, you’ll get a much better response when we can talk about your issue directly instead of confusing it with the other thread.
Rebuild kits are available. There were at least two versions of these for Ford. One for pickups, the other for mediums. The mediums used a larger input shaft at 1 3/8" vs. 1 1/16" for pickups.
