This morning while freeway driving the limp mode wrench symbol and CES lamps illuminate and I lose power but engine still running. Coasting to the berm I shut down, immediately restarted and all is well. Connected the scanner to get the P2104 "forced idle" and P2111 "stuck open" DTC's listed as pending, not yet confirmed. This has never happened before and seems to have been a glitch BUT are there any steps I should be taking to assure I'm not about to suffer another incident that's more severe or prone to completely disable my van?
The codes appeared twice when this happened, they weren't stored or confirmed, simply pending.
Reset your TPS. KOEO press the accelerator to WOT slowly in less than 10 seconds turn key off, repeat this process 2 more times and you should be set.
Thanks for that procedure---interesting it is for sure! Since the described incident hasn't recurred it might have been just one of those random things however I'll go through this re-set to make sure all devices are properly communciating.
