How's this sound?
Well, I knew it would happen. I sold my 88 diesel a year ago and I miss it too much. So I think I found a new old one. I'm looking for a truck that I can use for my landscaping business instead of beating on my 01 superduty. It is an 83 F-250 4 speed 2 wheel drive. 160,000 miles, aftermarket bucket seats, fancy stereo with equalizer thingy, big ol fiberglass cap, good general tires, cow pusher, and a relatively new paint job. It runs good, no white smoke. Owner thinks it might need a new IP. Interior is clean, underhood is clean. Owner had stainless trim on rear fenders so theres some rust under there. clutch and tranny are good. Said he wanted 1200 but came down to 1k. I think it's a steal. I am aware of the what to look fors on the 7.3 but is there anything I should really check out on this 6.9? I know there are headgasket issues but the lack of white smoke makes me think thats not a problem with this truck.
