parking brake cable
On the '53
What is the route of the parking brake cable. Starting at the handle, does it go through the firewall or where? Looking to order up some cables.

it snakes across the inside of the firewall and out thru the transmission tunnel cover (there is a hump in the cover on the left edge. From there it goes to the equalizer bar assembly under the bed.

Wow that was fast. Thanks guys. Now I am smarter then ever. I guess parking cables are quite flexible. Seems like a short distance from the hand lever through the hole in the assembly and then turn before the firewall.
John pictures help me a lot. Hoping to measure up for cables tomorrow and get them ordered up.
