Power Steering Bracket Spacers / Mounting Method?

In the midst of doing a timing chain on my 1970 F250 and at the same time, I would like to address the rigged mounting of the power steering bracket. Here's some background info: truck was originally a 360 with power steering and A/C. At some point, a 390 was swapped in and I'm guessing the new engine was from a non A/C truck. So they simply deleted the A/C pump and tied off the hoses. So the engine has just the power steering bracket, no bracketry for an A/C pump.

Regardless, there is a jumble of random washers and nuts stacked on the bolts that hold the PS bracket to the waterpump and head. I'm hoping someone has a close up picture of the original factory setup for an FE with no A/C, just power steering.

While we're at it, what are the correct belt sizes for this setup? Power steering w/ no A/C and also for the alternator / water pump belt. Whatever I ordered from Rock Auto is definitely wrong.

Thank!

If you cannot find a factory bracket. You could use this https://www.cvfracing.com/ford-fe-po...428-ford-pump/

I believe what I have pictured is the factory bracket? I've seen the bracket picture above before too, there must be more than one type but they're both factory I think. I'm just looking for the spacer arrangement / info on mounting the bracket type that I have.

Oh I see. I thought you were asking for a new bracket that fits without all the washers and spacers.
My FE came with the bracket that Christmas posted. It lines up the belts without spacers and extra washers. I assume that the PO of your truck threw in the washers to space the pulley. If the pulley is not lined up with the crank/waterpump it will shred the belt. So if you are looking to re-use the bracket you have, then you will just need to space it out until the belt lines up. Sorry, I don't have exact measurements because someone probably changed your crank pulley or something else, so you will have to do it by trial and error until it looks good.

Of course, I understand why they did it. But it's a factory Ford bracket and it has a factory Ford two belt (non A/C) crank pulley so if, indeed, it does need to be spaced out for pulley alignment, then I'm sure Ford didn't use random washers and nuts. I'm sure they used spacers of some sort and seeing what those look like and measure is what I'm after. Thanks.

Well don't destroy the cast iron factory bracket. Thats a rare and very expensive bracket . The later sheet metal bracket is dime a dozen.
