I have a 1966 f100, I have no turn signals unless I rev the truck up really high to about 1300+ rpm. The flasher is only a few months old cause the old one wasn’t working at all, the truck has a new alternator and regulator and I have undone/fixed a bunch of jury-rigging in the wiring. The signals were fine till a week or two ago and all of a sudden they only work when the engine is revved up, any idea what this could be? What are the odds of the new flasher crapping out that quick?

Here is an entertaining flasher thread to read through. ND gave some PN's for the flashers. And yes your brand new made in China flasher could be bad. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...-to-blink.html
Also your turn signal switch could be on it's way out.
Yes I, meant to mention that I have cleaned all my ground but not all connections, also the flasher that I bought is actually a made in USA one and not a Chinese one or at least that’s what it says
