Issue with rear drum locking up

Within the last few months, I had a buddy blow a brake line in my truck. So I went through and literally replaced almost everything past the master cylinder:

- Stainless brake lines including all new rubber flex lines
- front calipers and pads (reused the rotors)
- brand new RABS unit
- rebuilt both back drums with new hardware, shoes, and wheel cylinders (reused the drums & wheel cylinder links)
- All new parking brake cables as the previous ones were seized.

When bleeding, I used the following sequence:
1. Passenger Rear
2. Driver Rear
3. RABS
4. Passenger Front
5. Driver Front

A week or two ago, I had the rear, driver side drum lock up on me while I was towing a trailer. I had smoke billowing from that wheel. I had to drive it home, but could definitely feel it dragging, like I had the parking brake on (parking brake system is still not hooked up as the intermediate cable was the wrong length). I should add that I had probably 100 miles on the new brakes before this happened.

Last night, I finally got to take it all apart. The drum was a bear to get off, even after manually adjusting the auto-adjuster. Everything looks like it should be. The adjuster is all the way is. The shoes look like they've seen some serious heat. Even with the adjuster all the way in, I can not get the drum back on. The only thing that looks even slightly out of place is one of the links of the wheel cylinder looks like it's pushed out slightly. Like that cylinder is locked from retracting all the way? I don't know how often you get a back wheel cylinder? What else should I check?

Thank you for your help
