From what I understand, not just the top dog Bronco is already all spoken for, ALL of the '21's are. I thought that hard to believe, but my source has never given me any bad info.
This was in Autoblog and Ford is apparently sold out of the non-sport Bronco for 18 months. A number of reservations will be abandoned, I'm sure, and I'm not sure what their monthly production capacity will allow, but there is no doubt that the Bronco is hitting the marketplace in a big way. https://www.autoblog.com/2020/07/28/...-reservations/
That's great really. It'll be a few years before I give up this 150, hopefully by then I'll be able to order it and get it, in this lifetime.
Thanks George.
We have a lease on an Explorer now. The lease expires this November and I may see if we can extend the lease until we take delivery of the Bronco(probably in 2022). Hawaiʻi is usually the last in line to have any new models from Ford. Well, that has been the trend.
LOL long enough to be delivered to their new owners!
I am guessing that at least the larger Ford dealers will keep a Bronco or three in stock for test drives and showroom use to draw customers. (I'm thinking of one local dealer who keeps a Ford GT in the showroom.) If nothing else, there will likely be cancelled orders among those folks who put a deposit on a Bronco because they have changed their mind, had a change in life circumstances, etc.
Mine better have less than 10 miles on it when I pick it up, that's all I'm saying. lol
They'll have to figure something out to get some on the lots for non-committed buyers to check out hands on. There's just so much misinformation and rumor floating around about the release. Word on the Bronco Nation forums was that there's a "mannequin program" coming- meaning display only models, not for sale, no test drives, must be returned to the factory. Of course, rumor only. Nothing confirmed from anyone in the official forums or marketing or sales department. Could be just for the Bronco Sport (Ford Escape replacement), who knows?
