There was a severe thunderstorm pas thru here this afternoon with high winds, Neil should get it by morning.

That may be it, Did some damage around here, mostly tree limbs. haven't heard of any homes damaged, some power outages but nothing major.

I don't mind the storms, but when they are so violent that they cause damage we can do without those

My neighbor with the large cherry tree lost a big limb out of it but it got hung up in a crotch and is stuck there. I'll have to help them get it out tomorrow when we can see it. LOL

I have a 10" Remington pole saw that I bought at Lowe's about 15 years ago.

The crotch is higher than my saw will reach but we can cut it off and leave the piece in the crotch. LOL

It has a 12 foot pole but gets damned heavy when using it all stretched out.

Yeah I know, but it beats using a manual pole saw..LOL

I have one of those too and it gets hard sawing back and forth above your head
