Hi guys, it's been a while since I was able to really work on Mater, We've had a lot of pressing house repairs I could no longer put off, plus going to school as an adult has really pulled me away. I did miss the interactions with those of you I had gotten familiar with, and am getting ready to crank the welders back up this weekend and try to make some progress. Hope to hear from some familiar "faces" and reconnect. I'd love to hear what you guys have been up to as well!
Hey Tony
Post some pics of your progress & we'll follow along.
Just doing a little bit each week keeps the momentum going.
It must be cooler over there in Tennessee .. I can barely get
anything done here in Texas... too dang hot.
Good luck with your schooling, it took me 22 years to finish my BSEE and I don't ever regret the time I spent earning it.
As for me, the wife and I recently moved to TN and are still deciding what else to bring out of the barn to our new home.
There are always projects but it is good to be at a stage in life where you can pick the ones you work on rather than having them pick for you. Good luck...

Hi Ben, I have a pretty lengthy build thread going, the link to it is in my signature. I'm hoping to add my latest round of progress there this weekend.
