Been in the landscaping business for a few years now on the side from my full time job. Been running my 2008 F-350 with a dump insert and needed a bit of an upgrade now that I started doing some hardscape stuff.
I found this 2018 f-350 mason dump about 2 1/2 hours from me that was a bit more money than I wanted to spend but it matches my 2019 Lariat 6.7 and only has 7000 miles. Has every option on the build that I would have done. Perfect truck for me.

Lemme know what you guys think.
I think your money was well spent, it looks like the truck will be a great tool for your business, plenty of payload, towing capacity, plus with the dump. No doubt you saved thousands buying slightly used on insurance and dealer costs.
What's the deal with the yellow step? There is a superduty sitting on a local lot that has it also, it's a base model 4wd. There is also an upfitter close to me that has 20-30 new SDs sitting on their lot with the yellow step. I just assumed it was a special fleet type option for buyers that don't want a full board.
Looks pretty cool! I personally would have gone with a 450 and a dump trailer but that's just me (but probably significantly more money too). I have a 16ft dump trailer right now with a ram 2500 but I have a 450 on order and when supply chain issues are over, I'll be getting a new dump trailer with a 30k capacity... I'll be able to *almost* haul as much as a tandem dump truck. Either way, nice rig and I hope it makes your money back 10x over
