Anyone out there ever run a Flathead with an Isky 1007B Cam ? Specs are 370" lift and 2 56° diration. I can't find an equivalent match based on newer Isky Cams. Is this a decent street cam for a modified Flathead ? Specs show it as a Track Cam, kind of meaningless term for nowadays technology. Does this cam have a lumpy idle, decent vacuum at idle etc., etc.... Motor will be .080 over, 4" stroke, ported, port matched Offy Intake with a 4 50c.f.m. Holley 4barrel. Trans is Ford AOD with Holeshot Convertor. Any feedback appreciated. Thanks !
Did you try contacting Isky? They should be able to answer your questions.
I already did. That's how I got the specs. I need someone from the real world who has run this cam already, not someone looking at a computer screen. That's not going to help me. Thanks .
Most manufacturers have a version of comps " cam quest " . You input your engine specs and it will list cams with the rpm - torque values and recommended usage including idle quality . I know that you said they do not make that exact cam but you may be able to find one very close to tell you most of what you are asking .

To all that have offered input, thank you ! Today I was looking at Reds Headers site, and low and
O and behold, Isky has started reproducing that 1007B Cam. Looks like the lift figures I have written down are lower for thenew cam, and I would still like feedback from anyone who has used this cam. Oh yeah, some kind of problems at The Ford Barn. Can't get on their site, contacted administration, but it was Friday nite, so I won't hear back for awhile.
