Hi. new guy needs some info. I have a 94 F250 2WD and planning to install a 2.5" lift kit but I'm sure you know camber becomes a problem. Tuff Country makes a pair of dropped axle brackets with camber adjustment bolts (-21/4 to +2/14) for the same truck with 4WD, but it says they are only for 4WD. Another company makes a set that say fit both 2 and 4WD, but they are $450.00. From what I have been able to figure out the stock Ford bracket is the same for both 2 and 4WD. So what I need to know is does anybody know if the Tuff Country dropped axle bracket #20852 also work on a 2WD? Any info will be greatly appreciated.
Guitarjohnny, I have one of each, a 97 2wd F250 and a 96 4wd F250. As soon as this little tropical storm blows through, I'll take a look and maybe some pictures of the differences between the two trucks.
2wd may just need taller coil springs and 3.25 +/- camber adjusting slugs. I have never worked on a 2wd but them coil springs settle it may change alignments.
