Welcome to FTE. I'd like to help direct you to the right forum, but I'm not sure what you are asking. "I’m trying to add our 12 but cannot find the valve" what does this mean? What year is the vehicle? What engine size is that? I can't make out what it says on the filter cover.

I should have re read my post- R12 coolant is my topic- I have an E350 Fleetwood Tioga Montara Motorhome. AC runs but air is not cool. My first thought is to add the R 12. Which I will have to buy on eBay. But I can’t find the valve to add the coolant. That’s why I posted pics.

I used to be a mechanic at a motorhome repair shop and these can be hard to find. as I said before that series of E350 it should be under the passenger side fender edge, but being a motorhome changes everything. One of the hoses should run along under the edge of the cowl from the passenger side to the driver side behind the air filter. Check for the port there, right behind the oil filler cap.

While you're fiddling with it, you might as well convert to R134. Much easier to find/less expensive/more available than R-12.

Maybe.
I've always done it myself so anything above $100.00 seems high to me.
Say my $100.00 plus a couple of hours of labor would be $300.00 . . . ? I'm speculating.
Are there any other factors with this system that I'm not aware of?
