So Ozzie, are you happy with the Hellwig sway bar? did it make a big difference? My 73 has no sway bar at all so I'm thinking it is really going to help.
I do know I'll have to use different u-bolts and maybe that plate that goes underneath because I have DJM beams and they are a bit thicker than the stock beams.

Yes, I am pleased with the Hellwig experience. I added the front & rear bars. I am a fairly conservative driver, so the change is not dramatic to me. The truck seems to have less lean in the curves. My truck also had no bars, front or rear when built. The original I-beam U-bolts provided were not long enough to get a "full nut". This is important as the nuts are the self locking type. Not having a "full nut" means that they would have likely come loose in use. As you can see in the photo, the replacement bolts they sent are much longer. Hellwig told me that they had to fabricate the replacement U-bolts. The replacement U-bolts were not plated as were the originals. I painted them with aluminum paint.
