building my mudder
I'm building my mudder using a 69 f-100 shortbox chassis with a 94 ranger xlt shortbox body. I plan on using a 390 with a T18 and a crappy dana 21 t-case for now because thats what I have right now. I plan on changing the drivetrain eventually. Right now I need information to hopefully make mating the body and chassis as simple as possible. I have very limited fundage. Anybody else done a swap like this with some friendly advice?

This truck will be used for a basic backwoods trailrig. Eventually I will be working hard to get into top truck challenge or something similiar. For now it will serve as an all purpose play toy. I'm hoping to find a local club to join in the muskegon or nearby areas. Any locals interested in swapping parts or information can e-mail me. I will e-mail back when this site starts to let me. (I just found this site a couple days ago!)

Man, be brave. Grab a couple of cans of welding rods, a fresh tank of air and one of acetelene, and let your creative side take over.
I envy you. The only thing you should be really careful about is having fun during the build and surviving the outcome. Enjoy.
