Heated seat issue
i have a 2012 with heated and cooled seat .... cool seat worked great but heated didn't when i went to look at the heating element i found the device that does heated and cooled and the ducting was cracked and broken so i replaced the whole unit and cooled seat still worked and heated worked for a day and heated stop working again.... you can hear the click and feel the heat for a few mins and then no heat and the lights are red and if i switch to cooled they light up but don't work at all it is like it is tripped and to reset i have to turn the truck off and back on to get the cooled seat to work... i have swapped the passenger device to the driver side and it works fine for the 2 days i tested. so i am puzzled what is happening or the issue.

I did see this article and i checked all mine are the new style with out the white filter it has the black case cover on it only the driver side bottom had the white fitler and when i replaced it because the duct was damaged i didn't have anymore of the old style.
