Hey guys,
A non-Ford owner here. I have a 2000 Dodge Ram Cummins 4x4 Quad Cab Long Bed and 6 speed manual. Yeah, it pulls a ton. What's DEF?
Anywho - I wanted to show some respect for this big ole Godzilla 7.3L engine. It sounds like the best gas engine going. For those of you who may think your mpg is atrocious, I'd like to say, I think it's quite respectable, better than decent.
I of course did not log my mpg into your poll, but if I did, it wouldn't be all that much higher (across all 3 polls). I don't know, maybe 2 or 3 mpg higher. But your Godzillas are mo' bigguh (7.3L vs 5.9L) and burning fuel with less energy. From what little I know about it, it is quite impressive. It would ALMOST make me target a Ford truck, if I were ever going to buy another. What holds me back? Automagic transmissions. I'm a manual transmission guy. Which means I'll probably NEVER own another new truck since all that are being produced now are automagics.
Anywho - Respect to the Godzilla!
