New seats
Hi,
Anybody have tried to install a new set of seats, from a newer truck, I can get some from a year 2000 I beleive it was and wonder if it would fit.
Mine are getting pretty soft. I also like the one from GMC, but will they fit?

I took a seat from a 1993 truck and put it into my 1985 truck with no problem. It was four bolts into the floor and the new seat lined up perfectly. Doesent completely answer your question but it should help some.

You could easily messure/ look and see if the 2000 model year seat uses the same four bolts that yar 1991 does. there is four bolts one at each corner of the seat you have to slide the seat forward and backward to get to them all but its not that hard. Me and my girl swapped the seat in my truck in abnout ten minutes. and i think five of those minutes was picking up lost treaasures found underneath the seat.

Go over to yar local ford dealer and look at a truck on there used lot of the same year then ya could measure or look to see if it uses the same four bolts. Ya could also alwasy make it fit by drilling new holes and putting in some homemade brackets or what ever it takes to get it bolted in. Good luck
