I have a 2014 Ford F-150 STX. My steering wheel is very worn out and ended up breaking on one of the sides. My question is, is a xlt steering wheel compatible on a STX? I realize the controls are different so I am unsure if the wiring will match up to be able to plug it in. Thanks!

Should be able to just swap the switches with your old wheel. I replaced my base XLT steering wheel and cluster to the up level cluster with lcd display. My truck did not have sync, so the radio controls were inoperative, but the cruise and okay/4 directions worked perfect, just plug and play. The wiring is the same between all the steering wheels and clocksprings as far as I know, it’s all bussed inputs from the switches anyways. I’d just get the new wheel, swap the switches over and everything should just work!
