1994 7.5, E4OD, 4 WD. Short block is almost done. Crank was polished. Block bored .030 over. New bearings, timing, pistons, rings, comp cam, banks complete exhaust.
Wow, cylinder heads junky. Multiple broken exhaust studs. Machine shop says need 3 angle valve grind, stem seals (obviously), quoting around 750.
Question is should I re-man my original cylinder heads that came with the block? Or just buy new ones and measure for pushrod length?
Annnnnddddd go!
I'm rebuilding the motor. He is just doing heads that I will install. I dont have the machines to do the heads. One hand I want to keep original heads. Other hand don't know if new is better
