Sorry you lost the truck, but happy that there are no permanent injuries.
Rough rule of thumb, if a vehicle was hit hard enough to cause airbag deployment or came to rest on anything besides the tires it'll probably be totalled.
The other day I get hit by this driver that swerved across 3 lanes and slammed into the the righthand side. Makes the truck spin and as I got to the curb the truck rolls over and then I get hit a second time by the same driver. All side curtain airbags deployed, glad they are part of our safety features. A lot more damage shows in other pics I have.Going to have frame checked too. First spot hit From rolling onto side Final damage spot
Waiting for the insurance to see if they will total it. If they do, then the search starts for another F350.
Sorry to hear that this happened to you and I hope all is well health wise.
Also, I hope the other driver has good insurance or insurance period.
The insurance came back with a good number and I am happy with it.
Hope to find something soon.
That's good to hear. I fought with my insurance for almost 2 months to get them to pony up what the truck was actually worth. Got them to come up quite a bit but had a LOT of my own time and research involved in proving the vehicle's value to them. Glad to hear insurance came through and hopefully it was painless! Good luck with the truck search.
Glad to hear that the insurance worked out. Lost our 2011 F250 to a tree in a storm last summer and I thought the number they came up with was quite reasonable. Now waiting on our F350 order. Good luck with whatever you decide to replace it with!
So I have all ways wondered this, where was your phone found in the truck after a wreck like this?
I assumed I’d never find the dam thing to take a picture of the wreck . And one of the main reasons I went from an 04 to an 18. For safety.

Actually my phone was still in my back pocket. The pictures were taken by family members when they got to the scene.
