Hey guys, any of you had what I describe as a loud "flapping" type noise after your 3.5tt sits for a few day. Had it at the dealer and they are saying it's this left side actuator and it's normal. It's my 6th eco and never heard it in my trucks. This is happening in my wife's 19 expy. Last for maybe 3-4 seconds. It's not the little tick they make.
Can you take a video? Does it happen on startup or just when you open the door? The fuel pump will prime when you open the door for a couple pulses after the truck has sat for a while.

Na The only way I could describe it is if you were to put a piece of paper in a fan. That type noise.
After start up do you hear several well spaced clicks from the wheel well? It is the actuator and is inherent on the 2nd gen 3.5. You can actually duplicate the noise using forscan and KOEO test and watch the actuator move and go back to 25%. I do believe this was implemented to stop the moisture build-up during cold starts and its part of the start parameters.

Yes from around that area. Ok just making sure it's normal
