tire fit

i have a 2014 f-350 crewcab. i'd like to know to change my load weight from 3750 to 4080 can i run 295/65/20's instead of 275/65/20's? and if so will they fit without modifying the truck and is the gas mileage worse? also will i need to have the speedometer calibrated for the new tires?

Go to this site and enter your truck info. they have aa lot of pics to show all the different customer trucks running different size wheels, offsets, lifts and tire sizes. Good luck. I have also seen threads here as well as the 6.7 section where I hang on this very subject. Use the search buttons on the right side on top.

As for the recalibration of the speedometer, yes you will. The modern PID monitors can recalibrate the speedometer as you can get into the ECM.

For comparison of tire size:
