axle code confirmation
Hi, looking at 1987 E350 extended. axle code 33. According to blue oval trucks can either be Dana 61 with 3.54 or a ford axle with a 4.30. trans code is G which I assume is the C6. For the econoline, is it always the Dana 61 or the Ford or could it be both? If so, how could I tell when I look underneath. My concerns aren't durability, its about the engine spinning to high to maintain 70mph on flat Florida highways.
