Bob, on my "94" E-150 with the 5.0L, the scan plugs are under the hood and up on the inside drivers side fender sitting on the coolant jug right between the battery and fender. There is actually two pigtails. One is a single gray spade terminal and the other is a red triangular shaped with 5 spade pins in it. They both plug into the black dust cover.
