inside rearview mirror

I just got my 68 out from it's summer hiatus and the mirror glass had fell out. The mirror has always been loose on the ball and I need to replace it but I want one like my 69 highboy had that screwed on with the visor clip. Does any one know what models the screw on ones came with? 51 stude you got anything on this?

mine is screwed

I'm using a 1956 mirror. The only one I like. Its chrome and screws in to metal surround, and has a jam nut. about $35.

The 69 that I had that mirror on was a custom cab but also had major body work done to it at some point in its life, the only evidence of which was a frame repair and a repaint, so possibly it had 67 cab components. Maybe I will look in the rsto suppliers for one but my budget is more the $2 junkyard item. I think there is a 67 out here in my local yard. Also I think this week I will be getting back to a yard about an hour and a half away that has about a dozen 67-72's. I am just waiting to have enough money to take thew trailer and really make a haul. Usually the more stuff you get, the better the prices. Thanks guys.
