4x4 Conversion with IFS
I have a 2009 V10 short wagon. I am planning to do 4x4 project and air ride, in one hit.
I want front IFS, and have been advised to use GM 3500HD gear.
I have seen other folks convert these to coilovers, so I hope than I can find an air bag strut that will fit in the same space.
My Dana 70 rear axle is 3.73 ratio, so I need front axle that has same ratio, and with luck is upgradable to Torsen type differential.
I haven't made much progress on transfer box. I want permanent 4wd, gears not chain, plus either Torsen diff or air locker. Gearbox is five speed with overdrive, according to papers I have.
