I figured it out with some research on the internet.
I have 2017 F250 XL almost optioned XLT.
First make sure your phone is paired to the truck.
Wanting to listen to Pandora wirelessly with Bluetooth. Truck is basic XL Sync. I turned on Pandora in the phone. Pushed the talk to Sync button. It asked me for a command.
Say Bluetooth Audio.
It asks what do you want to do? Tell it, connect.
First try it didn’t work. I repeated that and it hooked right up to my IPhone Bluetooth wirelessly. Now every time I start the truck it comes on automatically. If you don’t want to listen to Pandora then push the Radio button and it goes back to FM. If you want to go back to Pandora you push the Media button. Pretty simple and it sounds awesome.
Yes it is the bare bones basic bottom of the line Sync. No upgrades there. If it works with Pandora it should be able to hook up with other Bluetooth apps. I’m not too tech either. I was amazed that I got this to work so easy.
