Question Bad Caliper?

I have a 98 2WD Ranger with 83k miles. When i get on the brakes hard the whole truck, not just the pedal, shakes really rough. The right side locks up before the left even under light braking. The right rim also collects much more brake dust than the left. My first guess was a warped rotor. I took it apart down to the spindles. Sure enough the rotor was fishy. I had those turned, put new ceramic pads on, and lubed the bearings. The rotors went on good and turned easy. But after putting pressure back in the caliper, the right side is much harder to turn than the left. Would holding the pads to tight be consistant with a bad caliper? Could the bad caliper cause a rotor to warp? Any other ideas? Thanks folks.
