Frame question
Hello everyone
What is the difference between a 69 f100 2wd and 71 f250 4wd frame? Can i use the 71 frame as a donor if i plan to CV swap anyway? Looking to verify any differences in frame dimensions.

The 2wd will be easier to work with for a crown vic swap but I do not agree Highboy frames are of high value.

This has me thinking. I cant find much data online suggesting value of the f250 frame. Comments indicating a couple grand and ebay listings for a few hundred. Thats a big difference. Is there a big premium for bump over dent highboy frames?

People will pay an arm and a leg for highboy frames if they need one for restoration or a four-wheel-drive swap.
They are not rare, but they are not easy to find.
The difference of a couple hundred to a couple thousand is between a Bare frame and a rolling chassis. Most would probably fall somewhere in the middle.

Please post the ebay links, there is nothing I can find. Have you seen the price on highboy trucks? Cheapest on Craigslist near me is 9k for a rough highboy.

You can use this site to search all of Craigslist. It is a little clunky but gets the job done. https://www.searchtempest.com/
These trucks have gained value but there are still deals on rough projects and donors out there. I do think the days of dragging home a 67-79 f250 4x4 for 250 bucks are pretty much gone unless you are in the right place at the right time.
Also for every link I posted there were 3 links of someone trying to send off their rusty junk for 4-8k.
