Have a 2020 f250 7.3 CC 4x4, my current RV is around 36ft total. Looking to upgrade to a model that is around 39. Towing the current one is a breeze, truck doesn't sweat! Would the additional length be a concern? We don't pull across the country or anything just wanted some feedback. The weights are roughly the same give or take and well under trucks payload and towing capabilities.
I assume this is a bumper pull since this is the conventional tow forum? If so that's a loooong trailer. If it's a breeze now I don't see an extra 3' being a major issue.

Yea, bumper pull. I am upgrading my current set up as far as hitch system and sway. Thought about even throwing a rear stabilizer bar on the truck. I have to snow plow prep just for the level factor but it didn't include the sway bar.

We went from a 33' to a new 38' this year, I dont notice any difference. I pull with a diesel Excursion and it pulls like a dream. Our old trailer was 7600 gvwr and the new one is 9500 gvwr. I did upgrade from my old Equalizer E4 1000/10000 to a new E4 1400/14000 but that's it. No other changes and no issues. You should be just fine.
Our '14 Jayco 338RETS TT measures 41' from the tip of the Hensley Arrow hitch to the rear bumper and tips the scales at just under 12K lbs, we pull it with a V-10 Excursion and the combo has been pretty well behaved for well over 30K towing miles all over the Eastern states. With the longer wheel based pickup I think it should also be a breeze towing the bigger TT with a good WD hitch with built-in sway control.
