Odd brake light problem
Tail lights and 3rd brake light will not turn off unless I disconnect batteries or pull fuse 116 (ignition).
No changes with key position or key removed.
When I push on the brake pedal, lights get slightly brighter.
Turn signals work normally.
Parking, clearance and headlights lights work normally.
Steps I've taken to diagnose:
Pulled every single fuse and relay in main panel and under hood.
Disconnected brake pedal switch.
Disconnected brake pressure switch.
Disconnected trailer brake controller including harness.
Disconnected tail light connector in rear.
Disconnected trailer harness in rear.
Disconnected headlight/parking switch.
Disconnected multi function switch.
Pulled 3rd brake light bulb.
Thinking something must be shorted within the ignition circuit or something always hot and not fused but I have no idea where to look, what else to disconnect or what wires to start cutting (hopefully don't have to).
Any ideas? I'm completely stumped with this one.
