I believe they sell Gibson at the online store here, MOTOR HAVEN, but do not know anyone that has used them.Do a search here and maybe you can find what you want.

GOOD LUCK, DARYL

I have a Gibson cat-back on my truck. Stainless steel high flow muffler. It has a good build quality, and fairly easy to install. The sound is nice, not too loud, but loud enough when you get on it. I would recommend one to a friend. I will be installing gibson headers next.

Thanks for the replies Daryl and bigdmizer,
I've been looking at the Banks system for my motorhome and can't quite justify the cost. The Gibson exaust is a lot cheeper and I've already put the K&N intake on. Just trying to see if cutting over half the cost is worth it.

I'm not sure what an exhaust looks like on a motorhome. The Gibson headers are manifold replacement only. Meaning they use the stock Ford Y pipe. The Banks headers for the motorhome are different. They are long tube design(helps with scavaging) and utilize a free flowing Y pipe. I think the Banks would be a better choice. Buy a Gibson cat-back and Banks headers. Should save you a little over the whole Banks kit.

Hi Thanks for the reply
Been checking on Gibsons site and they do make a complete exaust for motor homes from headers to exaust tip. The URL is http://www.gibsonperformance.com/motorhome.asp
This system is about half the cost of the Banks

Gibson CatBack

I installed a Gibson Cat Back system on my 26' Rexhall Class A motorhome chassis in June and have just returned from a 7500 mile cross country trip with it. The Gibson system does make a difference in climbing hills and passing. I have a B&M racing transmission temperature gauge in the dash and overall temps in transmission and engine were lower than previous trips. It also sounds better than the stock muffler and I gained about 1 to 1.5 miles per gallon. We averaged 10.1 mpg for the whole trip.

Thanks for the reply Clipper 508,
Talked with the service-rep frome my local Ford dealer and he recomended putting on the whole Gibson system, from headers to tail tip as soon as possible. Hope I get a bit more milage as you have done. We get between 7 and 8 towing my Ranger.
