cleaning up OK, or replacement needed?
I have the pan & filter off my '78 F250's C6 automatic transmission. The filter screen has no holes in it that I can see & I am wondering/hoping that I can just clean it up thoroughly & put it back in versus
replacing it?!?!?
Also wondering about pan gasket. Is a 'fiber' gasket better thank 'cork'? Does it need any adhesive applied prior to installation? Any particular brand better?
