Anyone use the AFE drop in filter on their 6.2? Any difference from the stock? I ran an Airaid intake on my 150 and the noise was cool and never buying filters was nice but not sure i gained hp
I bought the Pro Dry series because I have heard about the oil style giving the Mass Airflow Sensor problems by throwing codes. I’ve heard some people have problems and some with the oil type never have problems. The dry series flows more than stock but less than the oil type. I didn’t want to deal with issues. I like mine. It fits perfect. Maybe even more snug than stock. Very heavy duty made. It’s quality made. It’s washable so over time it will pay for itself. Acceleration has a slight throaty sound. Little more responsive throttle. .5 mpg increase and seems to be consistent.
