Does anyone happen to have any pictures or info of how this SPECIFIC YBlock Mchulloch VS57 Mount fits to the front of the motor? Pictures would be awesome if available (preferably without the supercharger mounted up so I can see better)!
literally was zero help... I really did need technical pictures not glamor shots and without the supercharger attaches to I could see where it sits. I have an issue with my particular install where I believe I’ll just be creating my own brackets for myself even though I own a bracket. The supercharger bracket is for a car timing cover not a truck and I was unaware that it would make a doffence in mounting but it does.
It looks like it mounts via the upper water pump / timing cover bolts.
The timing cover probably isn't the problem. The difference between car and truck is the casting for the lower 4 bolts, for attaching the engine mounting bracket in a truck application. Otherwise, it is the same. The water and fuel pumps are interchangeable, as far as the timing cover is concerned. Car and truck water pump castings are different. Truck pumps usually have extra ribs cast, to support the shaft, though I don't think those would get in the way.
What exactly is the problem that makes you suspect the timing cover?
