How should I mount my tailgate the bottom pieces where the bolts thread to one is gone and the other has a stuck bolt so how should I go about mounting it thanks
Sounds like its time for a couple new nut plates. I’m not sure what is the easiest way to cut her open and get em in there. Some may suggest nutserts or other substitutes, but you need the backing plate in a “cage” so that you can adjust the mounting position of the tailgate.
I think your only hope without major surgery on that is to take the taillights out and the bumper off. Find a couple of helpers with small hands and try to get it on with regular nuts and washers. Good Luck.
