Anyone know what type of pinion yoke this is on a 9 inch rear

Not sure but it does not look like a standard 9" yoke. It does not have a space/slot for the universal joint. I have not seen one with flanges sticking out like that either. You probably already know this, but your best bet is to remove it and find a standard one with the same spline count and width as your project.

Thanks for the input, that is what I will do. i have found online others that are a little different and they have some sort of adapter that bolts to this yoke for some unknown reason.
