Shocks.
Hi. I'm going to go to Auto Zone tomorrow and get new shocks. I would like to install shocks with a more "car-like ride", so I can drink a coffee on the way to work. It's a 93 4.0 / 4x4 and I'm never going to go off-road. Anybody ever do that? Or have a suggestion? Thanks from Dearborn.

Don't know if this will be much help, but in my last truck, which was a Nissan Hardbody V6 2WD, I put in Tokico Trek Masters. I really liked them...in my opinion very "car like" but also very nice on basic dirt roads. The ride actually reminded me of my mother in law's Tacoma Pre Runner which I thought was very nice. Thanks. You might wonder why I ask you all when I work in the engineering center, but a typical response here is something like, "you need a different vehicle" , or, "your vehicle should be the way it is". This morning I took my teen-agers Ranger to 7-11, and it is a pleasure. My Ranger, which I've only had for 3 weeks is a beast. As you all know it takes a month or two to get a truck the way you like it to be. Thanks.
