Got A Reply From Ford!
I wrote to Ford MoCo requesting information about my 78 F250 4x4's front axle. It took them 6 days, but I just got an email confirming that I have the High Pinion, Reverse Cut, Dana 60 sitting up front. Thanks to those of you the responded to my previous posts trying to figure out my axle code.....and now for the tires...hehehh.....on a side note, will the LSD in the rear D60 fit a reverse cut D60 front?

According to Randys ring and pinion
it will fit as long as the side gears have the same splines in the front and in the rear axles. which you might find that you have 35 splines in the front and most likely have 30 splines in the rear. I just put a new set of gears in a Dana 60 front and wanted to use a spare lsd from a rear axle in the front but found the spline count for the front is different than the rear.

sounds about right to me, guess I'll have to pull the axles to know for sure, the BOM on the axletubes is nowhere to be found. I understand that the area that contains all of the axle build info was lightly stamped and is likely to be unreadable.
