Angry disaster please help 88 bronc

Where to start? First my 88 bronco (302) was leaking oil put it into the shop for new rear main, valve cover, and oil pan gaskets. The mechanic has had it 2 weeks I went to pick it up yesterday the motor now has a knock in it there is no power when i hit the gas top speed is about 35 and the tranny is not shifting. It is F/I and has an A4OD transmission the vehicle is 10 times worse than when I took it in. I would be greatful for any help given. Thanks

ok first off, your tranny is an AOD. now if your truck runs worse take it back. have you checked the oil to see where its at. is it full. is this a good shop or just someone you found in the book?
take the mechanic for a drive to show him what its doing .

This shop is a good one. I checked the fluid levels after i noticed the problem they were fine. I took it back to the shop within 15 min. after I drove it, the mechanic had already left for the day so I left it with a note. I called him earlier today he said he didn't see a problem I told him to drive it and he would see a huge problem I am going to call him later.
