My wife's 2010 Expedition motor took a dump so I have to research we ordered a replacement motor from powertrain products which came from several recommendations. We ordered the motor from them providing them the VIN number come to find out the motor they sent us was the 04 to 06 models. I was unable to contact them this weekend but got in touch with someone through their Facebook and they claim the motor is the same the only difference is the spark plugs but that they have included new spark plugs because of that issue of them giving me in 04 to 06 since the 08 and up blocks or hard for them to come by. Besides having an issue whenever I need to replace spark plugs down the road will this motor swap perfectly into the vehicle meaning everything will plug and play and swap over all the sensors will be the same? Just trying to have all my information before I give them hell on the phone in the morning about never telling anybody that they were providing you with a older style motor however the person from their Facebook account says this is common practice and that all motor manufacturers who sell rebuilds do the same thing they just give you the item they never tell you.
