Any body having issues with the cameras in their new truck ? My bed camera is not working.😝

 

Mine acts up too. Took it tp the dealer for something else and “problem could not be replicated”. Have not had the chance to drop it off again

 

I too have this problem, does seem to work when warm but not when it's cold or cool

I am also having issues, and sometimes it seems to affect other cameras as well. Have all of you guys made changes in the truck using ForScan, one of the things that has been discussed is whether the DPF% screen is affecting it (I had it enabled, then turned it back off, still having an issue) or the actual temp readings above the gauges. Just trying to figure out if there is a systematic cause. Also, do you guys have the 5th wheel prep package, so the in bed connector, and do you have the trailer camera TPMS option, and have you wired it all up and are using it? I have both, and have wired up my conventional bumper pull trailer with the camera and the TPMS sensors, but the trailer camera always seems to work fine.

 

My tailgate camera is having intermittent problems.

 

My system is stock, I do have the customer placed trailer camera and TPMS option but haven't received the kit yet

 

I have the 2020 F-250 and my camera went out. The dealer replaced the camera and it fixed that problem. Then I noticed the the center line was missing and had to take it back to the dealership. The tech said it was not suppose to have a center line. I had to show the service advisor on a new truck on the lot so he could prove to the tech it did. That gave me a warm fuzzy feeling. After a couple of hours they finally figured it out and all works as it is suppose to.

 

The center line is very helpful. When you turn the steering wheel it curves with it. I would be annoyed if that was missing.

 

Do you use Apple CarPlay - I can replicate the camera issues after activating CarPlay - if I try to view the 3rd brake light camera with Apple CarPlay active - it corrupts the camera image and sometimes all the other camera images as well until I power cycle the truck and not use Apple CarPlay.

 

I don’t use Car Play at all, and Android auto only occasionally. My issues seem to be unrelated to that, although symptoms sound similar

 

My 20s bed camera stopped working and often times cannot even be selected. The rear camera gets weird sometimes as well.

Mine started today, bed camera is totally dead and the tailgate camera is all wonky, randomly. Going to call the dealership in the morning.

 

Looks a lot like mine. Today they all work fine, seems to be intermittent, the worst kind of problem. Let us know what they say.

have you made any FORScan changes.?

 

Same here, cargo cam comes and goes, zoom button when backing up to trailer wasn’t there today.

 

Mine did the same thing when i first brought it home. It would be grainy, like it was getting interference, and then the screen went blue. I took the 3rd brake light off, removed both connections (light and camera), and reconnected them. After that, it’s worked just fine. One of the connection might not have been fully seated.
