Bed Swap??
I have a 2000 F-350 Super Duty. No real problems, EXCEPT I need to replace the bed / box.
I would like to replace my bed with a new (or nearly new) take-off,
Can I modify, and make it work???

2016 is the newest that will work. The rear wheel arch will have a different appearance, but a couple have posted pictures and they look just fine. Only an **** Ford freak would catch it.

Are you saying that up to 2016 will work WITHOUT modify, and 2017, '18, & '19 would work WITH modification??

2017+....just don't man, just don't. Can it be done? Yes, plenty of work....and looks terrible after.

If you consider a 17+ bed, there's no reason to limit yourself to a Ford bed. Check for a Chevy or Ram bed, since they would probably look equally as bad

I know it’s not your original question, but have you considered the flatbed option? I’m not sure about where you live but where I am in the rust belt You can come across a decent quality flatbed that could be painted to match the truck cheaper than you can get a box in good shape.
