I was looking under the truck and to me it looks as if the drivers CV joints may be broken or something not right due the the angle? Thoughts? Compare passengers side with drivers.
is the boot torn? angle looks a bit more severe on the one side. does the truck sit level from passenger to driver side?
Yep, truck sits level, however like you stated, the drivers side CV axle shaft it definitely at a more angle vs the passengers side. The boot is torn, but not all the way around and I believe this is from rubbing on the shock.
lift height shouldn't matter with shock clearance. it probably tore due to the angle it's at and the fact that it's always spinning. I wonder why one side has more angle? is the torsion bar cranked up on one side?

truck is completely level and everything looks good except for the angle of the shaft. I can't figure out what it could be unless it's the internals of the CV's themself? I jacked the truck up and spun the wheel, no weird noise and the shaft turned quietly though. I guess I'll just buy a new assembly for the drivers side and see if anything changes. It has a 6" fabtech lift and everything looks symmetrical except for the drivers axle shaft. Both sides have the axle spacers installed.
